Performance Setup
Solo pianist and vocalist
One performer
Performance area 8 ft x 6 ft (2.5m x 2m) minimum
Access to power within 10 ft (3m)
Shelter required for outdoor performances unless otherwise agreed
Piano
Preferred:
Well-maintained acoustic piano
Acceptable:
Quality digital piano with 88 weighted keys
If no piano is available:
Lucas can provide a professional digital piano upon request
(subject to venue and event requirements)
Audio
If the venue provides sound:
One vocal microphone
Suitable PA system
Monitor speaker if available
If no sound system is available:
Sound equipment may be available upon request.
Performance Area
Stable, level performance area
Protection from the weather
Adequate lighting after sunset
Nearby power outlet
Arrival
Arrival approximately 60-90 minutes before performance
A minimum 10-minute soundcheck is needed after setup
Access to performance area for setup
Parking/loading access where possible
Optional Hospitality
Drinking water appreciated
Meal appreciated for performances exceeding four hours
